Reflective Tape

General Information: Reflective Tape is a vinyl product that has been over laminated with a retro reflective film. It has an acrylic based adhesive system that allows it to stick to a variety of surfaces found on vehicles, signs, and other visible objects, in outdoor applications. Reflective tape is used for illuminating or highlighting a range of items.

Reflective tapes are sometimes confused with phosphorescent tapes or fluorescent materials used to illuminate protective clothing. Also, some reflective films are constructed with glass bead retro reflective films and are used in signs and road markers. These products are primarily reflective films used for traffic, work zone, vehicle and/or road applications.

Conspicuity: Conspicuity tape is an ultra reflective tape used by truckers to illuminate their tractor trailers in order to meet Department of Transportation and National Highway Transportation Safety Standards for high visibility. Reflective conspicuity tape is proven to reduce traffic accidents. It can also be used on cars, trucks, boats, snowmobiles and trailers, or for any other application to mark areas of caution; and it is available in white, yellow, or red.

Reflective tapes and vinyl reflective films can be combined with matching custom cut graphics and used for car/truck/boat or any vehicle highlighting or lettering. Reflective tapes are used as a styling enhancement, and they also provide a major safety benefit. Reflective tape adheres to stainless steel, chrome, glass, aluminum, auto enamel and most other surfaces. It is resistant to salt spray and certain chemicals.

Converting: Our converting capabilities allow us to slit reflective tape to custom widths and also to sheet it to specified lengths, for any application.
