3M™ Duct Tape 3939

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

3M™ Duct Tape 3939 is composed of waterproof polyethylene film over cloth scrim backing with a rubber adhesive used for demanding duct tape applications.

FEATURES:

Offers easy tear and conformability.
Meets UL 723, HUD, and BOCA codes.
Low tack roll edges (48 mm) so edges stay cleaner for less surface contamination and less waste.
Individual roll wrap (48 mm) that preserves integrity of the roll for less waste.
Product number printed in core to insure that correct product is used.
Polyethylene coated cloth scrim that resists moisture to prolong tape bond.
Good tensile strength for tough applications.
Rubber adhesive that adheres aggressively to most surfaces for good holding power and a tight seal.

APPLICATION IDEAS:

Hanging polyethylene drapes for containment activities, industrial masking and sandblast overspray protection.
Patching, reinforcing, bundling, moisture proofing, sealing, splicing, temporary repair.
Taping and splicing insulation.
Useful in the convention industry for holding and seaming carpet padding, taping down cords and hinging poster board panels.

STORAGE:

Store under normal conditions of 60° to 80°F (16° to 27°C) and 40 to 60% R.H. in the original carton.

SHELF LIFE:

To obtain best performance, use this product within one year from date of manufacture.
