Custom Converted Black Heat Activated Plus Sealing Tape WT4112 | 47 mil

3M™ Heat-Activated Acrylic Plus Tape is a 1.20 mm (0.047 inch) thick, black acrylic foam tape, constructed with two different adhesives. The heat-activated adhesive on the non-liner side forms an immediate, consistent and durable bond to most EPDM formulations and Santoprene® materials used to attach weatherstrip and/or gasket seals for automotive and industrial applications. 3M WT4112 Tape offers the following key features:

  • Excellent adhesion to a wide variety of automotive paints, including the new scratch-and mar-resistant, low surface energy, and traditional paint systems.
  • Combination of high initial adhesion with a stress handling core for demanding applications.
  • Utilizes an acrylic foam core uniquely designed for excellent conformability of the seal to the substrate, while delivering excellent wet-out.
  • Black core resulting in improved bond-line aesthetics.
  • Ability to apply tape to seal components prior to high-temperature processing such as seal coating bakes.

3M ST1200 Acrylic Plus Tape is constructed with two different adhesives, used to attach weatherstrip and/or gasket seals for automotive and industrial applications. Provides high adhesion and holding strength to automotive paintsurfaces and the conformable acrylic core delivers excellent wet-out and stress handling to maintain seal integrity.

SHELF LIFE:

One year from date of receipt by customer when stored at 4 C - 38C (40F - 100F) and 0-95% relative humidity (RH). The optimum storage conditions are 22C (72F) and 50% relative humidity.
