Scotch® ATG Adhesive Transfer Tape 969 is a 300 acrylic, reverse wound, pressure sensitive adhesive on a densified kraft paper liner. High tack adhesive transfer tape. For use with Scotch® ATG Adhesive Applicators.
A soft pressure sensitive adhesive system that features high initial adhesion and good holding power.

APPLICATION DESCRIPTION:

Bond strength is dependent upon the amount of adhesive-to-surface contactdeveloped. Firm application pressure helps develop better adhesive contact andimprove bond strength.To obtain optimum adhesion, the bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and wellunified. Typical surface cleaning solvents are isopropyl alcohol and water (rubbingalcohol) or heptane. Note: Be sure to follow the manufacturer™s precautions anddirections for use when using solvents.Ideal tape application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F (21°C to 38°C). Initialtape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommendedbecause the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properlyapplied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory.

APPLICATION NOTES:
